Basil-1/2 bunch( I dint get the fresh one, I used the dry basil powder) Fresh one gives better taste
pepper powder- 1/2 tspn
red chilli powder-1/2 tspn
salt- to taste
Garam masala- 1/4 tspn
olive oil- 1 tbspn
ghee- 1 tspn
- Add some ghee in a pan and add chopped onion and tomatoes. Boil both onion and tomato in a pressure cooker.
- Let it cool and grind them in to smooth paste. Strain it.
- Take a separate vessel. Add little olive oil. Add minced garlic in to it. fry for some time. Add the above tomato mixture and some water. let it boil for 5 mins. Add pepper powder, red chilli powder and salt.
- Finally add the basil leaves and Garam masala and boil it for a minute. serve hot with grilled Garlic bread.
